Privacy policy

This website is run by Matt Andrews, an independent designer based in the UK. This page explains what information the site collects and how it is used.

The contact form

When you send a message, the form collects your name, email address, subject and message. These are emailed to me so I can reply, and you’re sent a confirmation email. Your message is not stored on the website.

I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and for any work that follows from it. I never sell or share them for marketing. Emails are kept only as long as needed for that conversation and my business records.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device by the websites you visit. This site keeps their use to a minimum:

There are no advertising cookies. You can change your mind about analytics cookies at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the contact form may then not work.

Spam protection

To stop automated spam, the site keeps short-lived counters of how often messages are sent. Your IP address and email address are scrambled (hashed) first, so the original values aren’t stored, and the counters are deleted within an hour.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any information I hold about you by emailing hello@mattandrews.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
